Richmondville - Paul R. Kniskern, 76, of Court Street, Richmondville, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021, peacefully at home.
Paul was born October 5, 1945, in the village of Cobleskill, the son of Leon and Jennie (Proctor) Kniskern.
He was a graduate of Cobleskill Central School and a lifelong area resident. He was a Jack of all trades, master of none throughout his life working on dairy farms, truck driving, road maintenance and as a machinist. He retired from Walmart where he worked in the shipping and receiving department for several years and then continued to work maintenance at the I-88 Worcester rest area.
Anyone that knew him knew he was born to roller skate. He loved music, cruising around the countryside, good food, football, basketball, camping, movies, reading, and had a great affection for all the animals he spent time with. He will be missed by his many friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Paula (Anne) Kniskern of Charlton, a brother, Myron (Jackie) Kniskern of Richmondville, a niece, Michelle (Bob) Haney of Niskayuna, and two great nieces, Emilee, and Katherine Haney of Niskayuna.
