William "Willie" Aponte

Carlisle- William “Willie” Aponte, 70, of Carlisle died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital with his beloved wife by his side.

Born May 20, 1951 in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Baltolo and Dolores (Maldonado) Aponte.

Willie was an excellent auto detailer and most recently worked at Valley Auto in Cobleskill.

He was a member of Fusion Community Church where he married Linda Lopez in 2017.

Willie assisted in various capacities at the church and was a very spiritual man. In his leisure, Willie enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, as well as his children and her children.

There will not be any formal visitation or service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Fusion Community Church, 375 North Grand St., Cobleskill, NY 12043.
