William Stukey

William P. Stukey, 68, of Esperance Road, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Bassett Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born in San Diego, CA on July 20, 1953, and was the son of Freal and Marie A. (Congdon) Stukey.  For many years Bill was the designer for homes sold by Bill Lake Homes of Sprakers.  In his leisure, Bill enjoyed woodworking, making many furniture pieces.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Stukey, whom he married in 2009; his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Cheryl of Florida, grandson, David and four legged friend, Luke, his dog.

At William's request there will not be any visitation or funeral service.  Cremation will take place at Vale Crematory, Schenectady. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
