William Vito Pace, Jr., 76, formerly of Lewisboro, NY, passed away July 29, 2006 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. William was born July 21, 1930 in Norwalk, CT, the son of the late William Pace, Sr. and Ruth (Corello) Pace.
He was a landscape contractor for 40 years and had worked for the Katona Lewisboro School District before retiring in 1989.
William is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Kingsley) Pace; his children: William Pace III of CT, Cynthia Marie Pace-Habenieht of New Mexico, and Mark Anthony Pace of Stamford, CT; his grandchildren: Eric, Cristina, Jackie, Alan, Julie and Sheila; 2 brothers: Salvatore and Leonard Pace, and several nieces and nephews.
His brother, Anthony Pace, predeceased him.
William grew up in New Canaan, CT where he lived before residing in Lewisboro, NY for over 35 years, retired and then moved to Middleburgh, NY.
Bill was loved and well respected by friends, family and all who knew him. He will be missed dearly.
There will be no calling hours. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Aug. 1, at St. Catherine's Church in Middleburgh with Father Thomas F. Holmes as celebrant. Interment was in Old Stone Fort Cemetery, Schoharie, NY.
