William Frye

East Worcester, NY- William J. Frye, 79, of State Route 7, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.
He was born September 9, 1929 in Altoona, PA, the son of Joseph and Anna (Campbell) Frye.
Bill lived in East Worcester for many years and served as a volunteer fireman with the East Worcester Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from General Electric in Schenectady where he was employed as a machinist.
He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Bill enjoyed hunting.
Survivors include his son, Charles (Linda) Frye of Rotterdam, and a daughter, Donna (Robert) Bellon of Altoona, PA; two granddaughters: Christina (Brian) Cook of Rotterdam, and Bridgett (John) Baer of Clinton, MA; 4 great-grandchildren: Angelica and Zander Cook both of Rotterdam, and Jordan and Dylan Baer of Clinton, MA.
