Middleburgh- William E. Crabill, 72, of Guinea Road, died Thursday, October 16, 2014, at his residence following a long illness.
Born October 1, 1942 in Dover, DE, he was the son William Wood and Rosalyn (Fisher) Crabill.
Bill was a United States Navy veteran proudly serving his country from 1961 until receiving an honorable discharge 1967.
For many years, Bill worked in the shipping department at General Electric in Schenectady. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and watching movies.
Survivors include three children: William (Michele) Crabill, Jr. of West Fulton, Melody (Phil Prescot) Wright of Richmondville, and Timothy M. Crabill of Middleburgh; his sister: Rosalyn (Danny) Carmen of Roanoke, VA; his brother: Robert Crabill of Middleburgh; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A private service will be held at the family's convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 125 Granite Drive, Suite 1, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
Arrangements have been entrusted Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh and Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
