WORCESTER- Willard Alton Madison, 51, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2007.
Willard was the son of Alton and (the late) Barbara (Willard) Madison and was born on September 29, 1955 in Cooperstown, NY and raised on State Route 20 in Esperance.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 35 years, Mary, their son, Jason Madison and his wife Tara, daughter Tracy Madison, sisters Phyllis Klingbeil, Luann Madison-Smith, and Marie Saltys, brother David. Willard was also blessed with 7 beautiful grandchildren, Donald, Taylor, Dylan, Abigail, Hannah, Jesse, and Dustin, as well as a niece and nephew, Katrina and Richard Klingbeil, his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Eckler and countless other family members. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Madison.
Mr. Madison was a 1973 graduate of Duanesburg Central High School and was employed at General Electric Company, was a mechanic at several area Auto Repair Shops, and held the position of Head Bus Driver at the Duanesburg Central School District. Willard and his wife reside in Worcester, NY , but the final and best years of his life were spent "Living" on "The Land" at their property in Sharon Springs.
