Breakabeen- Wayne T. "Butch" Nichols, 57, of State Route 30, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Ellis Hospital.
Born March 19, 1952 in Cobleskill, he was the son of Marian (Bellinger) Nichols and the late Thomas Nichols.
Butch attended Middleburgh Central School and was a self employed carpenter and laborer. He resided in Montana for the past 14 years and moved to Breakabeen two years ago.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his mother, Marian Nichols of Middleburgh; a son: Fred Wright of Cobleskill; daughter-in-law: Brenda Wright of Middleburgh; a granddaughter: Courtney Wright of Middleburgh; three sisters:
Wendy (Edward) Simovich of Middleburgh, Karin (James) Zoltek of Adams, MA, and Lynn (John) Scoville of Cobleskill; two nieces: Cory Sisson of Adams, MA and Katelynn Simmons of Richmondville; one great-niece, Lauren Ostrander of Richmondville; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be private at the family's convenience.
