Walter Truesdell

Gilboa- Walter George Truesdell, 62, of Parsonage Hill Road, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 20, 2006 at his residence.
Mr. Truesdell was born January 4, 1944 in Catskill, NY, the son of George and Mary (Wayman) Truesdell. He was a lifelong area resident and had worked construction all his life. Mr. Truesdell was a member of the National Guard earlier in life.
He was an avid deer and bear hunter, also a Harley Davidson enthusiast.
Survivors include his loving friend, Ruth Truesdell of Gilboa, 2 sons: Walter Mark (Diane) Truesdell of Warnerville and Scott Truesdell of Gilboa; his daughter: Rebecca Truesdell of Glenmont; cherished grandchildren: Jaida, Morgan, and Eric Truesdell; 3 brothers, 1 sister, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 23, at Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home 134 River St. Middleburgh, with Rev. Paul Buhrke officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Flat Creek Cemetery.
