Cobleskill- Vivian M. Belding, 72, of Pewter Lane, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital following a brief illness.
Born April 17, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Joseph and Edna (Aldrich) Briehof.
Vivian and her husband moved to Cobleskill from Poughkeepsie twenty-three years ago. She was employed at Burger King for several years before retirement. Vivian operated Grammy's Treasures and sold most of their wares in Schoharie and surrounding counties. She was also an avid Bingo player.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer Belding, Jr., whom she married February 26, 1961; her children: Denise Stevensky of Poughkeepsie, Cathy Ann Delany of Florida, Brenda Fuller, Debra Hochrein of Cobleskill and Elmer Belding III of Troy; nineteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
There will be no formal service or visitation per the family's request. Memorial contributions may be made to Marathon For a Better Life, PO Box 268, Warnerville, NY 12187.
