Virginia Graves

Cobleskill- Virginia D. Graves, 90, of East Street, Cobleskill, died Friday, September 12, 2014 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.

Born February 27, 1924 in Schenevus, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Falzareno) Corsall.

Virginia was a graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School and retired as manager of the former Bridge Apartments in Cobleskill. She was a member of the New Century Club, volunteered in the cafeteria at the Cobleskill Regional Hospital and enjoyed sewing and gardening.

She was also predeceased by three brothers and their wives, Joseph and Ruth Corsall, John J. and Ethel Corsall, Jr., and Ralph and Dora Corsall.

Survivors include her daughter: Patricia A. (Richard G.) Shultes of Middleburgh; four grandsons: Richard J. (Brynda) Shultes and their daughters: Carolyne and Cameryn; Michael J. (Amber) Shultes and their daughters: Delilah, Cecilia, and Clare; Daniel M. (Trista) Shultes and their child: Bray; Stephen O. Shultes; and granddaughter: Christine Shultes (Ben) Noxon and children, Charlie Millard and Ben Noxon, Jr. Also surviving are two nieces, MaryAnne and JoAnn Corsall which were also her loving companions to travel and enjoy dining and recreation. In addition are nieces, Phyllis Corsall (Mel) Goodearl and their children, Donna Corsall and children, Bernice Corsall, Joseph (Noreen) Corsall and children, Richard (Barb) Corsall and other family members.

A celebration of life, with brunch being served,will be held from 11AM to 1PM on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Justine's Restaurant, 399 West Main St., Cobleskill. Memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 125 Granite Dr., Suite 1, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
