Fultonham: Virginia Acker, 79, of Bear Ladder Road, died Monday, January 24, 2011 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford, N.Y. following a brief illness.
Virginia was born May 26, 1931 in Franklinton, N.Y. to the late Myra (Whitbeck) and Howard Acker.
Virginia enjoyed painting ceramics and working outside around her property.
She retired from Audio Sears in Stamford, N.Y.
Virginia is survived by her sister: Brenda Koda of Albany, N.Y. and her cousin: Robert (Marjorie) Felter of West Fulton, N.Y.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Breakabeen Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Middleburgh Emergency Volunteer Ambulance Corp., P.O. Box 817, Middleburgh, NY 12122.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, Middleburgh and the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, Cobleskill.
