Sloansville- Timothy Pasieka, "Wild Man Tim", 64, of State Route 20, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.
Born September 4, 1946 in Manhattan, he was the son of Stanley and Clara (Wisniewski) Pasieka.
Tim was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, until receiving an honorable discharge.
He was employed for thirty-two years at Owens Corning in Delmar, retiring as a Computer Training Specialist in 2006.
An outsdoorsman and naturist, Tim enjoyed spending time at the beach and fishing. He was a member of Northern Exposure Sun Club. In his spare time, Tim was a disc jockey, specializing in weddings. He found pleasure in riding his motorcycle, dabbling with stocks on the computer, playing the lottery and being a private licensed pilot.
His wife, Sheldonna (Diamond) Pasieka, whom he married in 1968, predeceased him Feb. 28, 2006.
Survivors include his children: Amanda (John) Congdon of Cooperstown, Bryan M. Pasieka of Sloansville, and T. Adam (Joy) Pasieka of Navarre, FL; four grandchildren: Adison D. Pasieka and Aidan Pasieka, both of Navarre, FL, Abigail Congdon of Cooperstown, and Jayden Pasieka of Cobleskill; his sister: Jane (Chris) Hickey of Sloansville; his brother: Tony (Sandra) Pasieka of Venice, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh with Rev. Phillip Sears of the East Glenville Community Church officiating. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the funeral home on Wed. from 5 to 7 PM, prior to the service. Burial will be private.
