Thomas Smith

Richmondville- Thomas A. Smith, 24, of Lape Road, died Monday, July 20, 2015 unexpectedely at his residence.

Thomas was born on February 14, 1991 in Gainesville, Florida to Teresa Smith and Earl R. Steadman.

Thomas attended Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School before working at Mill Services in Cobleskill. Most recently, he was a truck driver with H. O. Wolding of Amhurst, WI.

In his free time, Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, and time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother: Teresa Smith; grandmother: Ruey Gould of Belleview, FL; stepfather: Stanley Gould (Sharyn Winston) of Richmondville; stepmother: Patricia Robinson; sister: Vanessa Silva of GA, and several cousins.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service which will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. Pastor Jeffrey Smith of the Richmondville United Methodist Church will officiate. There will be no calling hours.
