Jefferson- Thomas M. Lien, 67, of Morrisville Road, died Friday, November 18, 2016 at his residence.
Born November 17, 1949 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Jacob M. and Lillian (Christiansen) Lien.
Thomas was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and receiving an honorable discharge.
He was raised on Long Island, moved to New Paltz in his adulthood and then to Jefferson in the mid 1980's. Tom was a laborer at the Storybook Bindery in Charlotteville. His hobby was wood working.
He is survived by his brother, John C. Lien of New Paltz.
Friends are invited to a memorial service that will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. Officiating will be Rev. Anna Cole of the Warnerville United Methodist Church. There will be no calling hours.
