Theresa Borell
Middleburgh- Theresa H. Borell, 90, formerly of Schoharie and Middleburgh, died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Good Samaritan Lutheran Healthcare Center in Delmar, NY where she had been a resident for the past year.
Born January 17, 1920 in Astoria, Long Island, NY, Theresa was a daughter of Bela and Theresa (Molnar) Hajduczky.
She was employed as a clerk for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany from 1953 until her retirement in 1982.
Theresa was a communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Middleburgh.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholaus, on December 7, 1972.
Survivors include a niece: Genevieve Leun of Brentwood; and two nephews: Raymond Dumont of West Hempstead, NY and Dudley Almy of Nashville, TN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Main St., Middleburgh with Father Thomas F. Holmes as celebrant. Family and friends are also invited to attend a period of visitation to be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Thur. at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh. Burial will be in Middleburgh Cemetery.
