Middleburgh-Thelma I. Van Aller Corradino, 90, of Clauverwie, died Monday October 18, 2010 at her home.

Thelma was born on November 10, 1919 in Middleburgh, NY a daughter of the late Margaret (Mau) and Lee Van Aller.

Thelma was predeceased by her first husband John Rosa, who was killed in World War II and subsequently married Frank Corradino. They lived on Long Island for many years before she moved back to her roots in 1981.

She owned and operated Antiques by Thelma for many years. She enjoyed oil painting, decorating and was very passionate about her antiques.

Thelma attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church and was a member of the Century Club in Middleburgh, the Schoharie Valley Garden Club, the Middleburgh Golden Age Club and the 50 Plus Club of Schoharie, NY.

Thelma is survived by her son: Frank Corradino of Fire Island, NY; her daughter: Grace (Brian Kerr) Corradino of Fire Island, NY; her son: William (Margaret) Corradino of Middleburgh, NY; her granddaughter: Grace Joy (fiancé Oliver Robbins) Pablo of Nashville, TN; her grandson: Kyle Pablo of Fire Island; her sisters: Sylvia Filkens of East Berne, NY and Sarah DeMarco of Schenectady, NY; her brothers: Robert Van Aller of Edgewater, Florida and Charles Van Aller of Phoenix, AZ. and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday October 22, 2010, at the Middleburgh Reformed Church, River St., Middleburgh, NY. with Rev. Jeffrey Kelley , Rev. Peter J. DeBartolo and Rev. Carol Coltrain co-officiating. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held from 5-7pm on Thursday October 21, 2010 at the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY. Cremation took place at the Vale Crematory, Schenectady, NY. Interment will be private.
