Summit- Terence H. Herrick, 58, of Bear Gulch Road, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Albany Medical Center following a long illness.
Born May 10, 1954 in Englewood, NJ, he was the son of Timothy G. and Catherine E. (Hart) Herrick.
He had been employed at New York Twist Drill as a machinist for several years before moving to Summit in 1990.
Terry enjoyed woodworking, making rocking horses and wishing wells. He had a fondness for his dogs and was an avid Rangers fan.
Terry is survived by his two brothers: Tom (Nancy) Herrick of Oakland, NJ and Tim (Lube) Herrick of Bridgewater, NJ; his niece: Melissa Herrick and a nephew: Tim Herrick.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with Robert Stark as celebrant. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the funeral home from 1 to 4 PM on Saturday, prior to the service. Cremation will follow at Vale Crematory. Inurnment will be in Summit Cemetery in the spring.
