Susan Monroe

Middleburgh- Susan A. Monroe, 58, of Cliff Street, died peacefully Wednesday, May 8, 2013 surrounded by her family at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY.

Susan was born on March 18, 1955 in Cortland, NY, a daughter of the late Beverly (Morris) and Cristopher Lowell.

Locally, Susan worked as a Clerk for the Middleburgh Library. She was a member of the Middleburgh Century Club and the former Director of the Christopher S. Best Medical Exhibit in Middleburgh.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce W. Monroe of Middleburgh; daughter: Kimberly Monroe of Fayetteville, NY; sisters: Pam Lowell of Syracuse, NY, Christine Lowell of Liverpool, NY, Cathy Stott of Auburn, NY; brother: David Lowell of Cleveland, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of Susan's family. Cremation will take place at the Vale Crematory in Schenectady, NY.
