Richmondville- Susan "Tootie" M. McHargue, 49, of Harroway Rd., died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Albany Medical Center.
Born August 31, 1967 in Cobleskill, she was the daughter of the late Norman McHargue and Harriet (Manchester) McHargue, who survives her.
Susan worked as a home health aide locally as well as in Dutchess County where she lived for a few years before moving back to this area.
She was an avid Yankees fan, loved to ride her Harley, and read.
Susan was the proud mother of Michelle Tessier of Cobleskill. She was predeceased by Michelle's father, Anthony Tessier, in 2005. Along with her mother, she is survived by her siblings: Terry (Laurie) McHargue of Cobleskill, Penny (Rick) Wainright of Schenectady, Joseph (Karen) McHargue of Binghamtom, Timothy (Rebecca) McHargue of Richmondville, Norman McHargue, Jr. of Seward, Danny McHargue of Cobleskill and Missy McHargue of Cobleskill; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with Rev. Andrew Fetter of the Fusion Community Church officiating. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 5 to 6 PM. Burial will be private in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
