Middleburgh, NY- Susan Douglas, 59, of Anderson Rd., died Thursday November 18, 2010 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.
Susan was born in Paterson, N.J. on March 9, 1951 a daughter of the late Carrie (Broek) and Cornelius VanGenderen.
Susan was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, animals and rides in the country.
Susan is survived by her long-time companion: Jeff Kelsey of Middleburgh, NY; her sons: Arthur K. (Dawn Lee) Rumph, Jr. of York, SC, Christopher Womer of Midland Park, N.J.; niece: Christine (Kate) VanGenderen of Connecticut; nephew: Charles (Liz) VanGenderen of Montana; sisters-in-law: Norma VanGenderen of Middleburg, FL. and Ginger VanGenderen of Hawthorne, NJ
A Memorial service will be held at 5:30pm on Tuesday November 23, 2010 at the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY. Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Cremation took place at the Vale Crematory in Schenectady, NY.
