Sue Jones

Middleburgh- Sue E. Jones, 73, formerly of Middleburgh and most recently of Marchand Manor in Sharon Springs, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.

Sue was born on December 2, 1942 in Schenectady to Gertrude (Lape) and Charles D. Breymeier.

Sue graduated from Schalmont Central School and was a homemaker for most of her life before working as a cashier, at Grand Union in Middleburgh, for a few years.

Sue enjoyed puzzle books, crocheting, playing cards and most of all visiting with people.

She was married to Carl Jones in 1964 until he predeceased her in 2011.

Sue is survived by her son: Carl (Hope) Jones of Middleburgh; daughter: LeaAnn Curtis of Burnt Hills; granddaughters: Alicia Jones of Boston, Tanya Lawless of Ballston Spa, Rachel Roberts of Burnt Hills; great-grandchildren: Brianna and Adam Lawless.

A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh. A period of visitation will be held from 6-7pm at the funeral home, prior to the service. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
