Richmondville- Stanley A. Cozzolino, 76, of Bear Gulch Road, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at his residence with his loving family at his side.
He was born July 6, 1937 in Harrison, NY, the son of Vincent and Theresa (Scarangella) Cozzolino. Stanley was a resident of Mamaroneck for sixty years and most recently Richmondville. He retired from the Carpenters Union 11 twenty years ago,
An inspiration, a comedian, and a carpenter, he was his family's hero. Stanley was a master crafter and an avid puzzle solver.
Stanley was predeceased by his 44 year old daughter: Regina M. Cozzolino on Sept. 8, 2010.
He was the beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother of his wife of fifty-five years: Betty (Sinopoli) Cozzolino; daughters: Elizabeth (Liz) of Richmondville, Linda (Joe, son-in-law) La Bella of Mamaroneck, and Lauren Cozzolino of Elmsford; grandchildren: Julianna, Samantha, and Joseph La Bella, Johnvincent, Livia, and Matthew Landis; and his brother: Peter Cozzolino of Sharon Springs.
In honor of Stanley's request, services will be private for the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh.
