Summit-Shannon Ann VanValkenburg, 42, of Charlotte Valley Road, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 1, 2015, at her residence.
Born August 16, 1972 in Cobleskill, she has been a lifelong area resident. Shannon enjoyed spending time at the ocean on vacations.
Survivors include her two daughters: Amanda and Samantha VanValkenburg, both of Summit; her parents: Kevin L. and Geraldine (Smith) Bradley of Summit; her brother: Kevin A. (Nyree) Bradley of Fort Worth, TX; two nieces and two nephews.
Services will be held privately at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home of Middleburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made to Summit Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 296, Summit, NY 12175.
