Niskayuna- Scott O. Willoughby, 45, died unexpectedly, Monday, September 14, 2015 at his residence.
Scott was born in Cobleksill, on May 23, 1970 to Catherine I. (Schrader) and Charles O. Willoughby.
Scott was a member of the Varsity wrestling team and graduated from Cobleskill Central School in 1989. He received an Associate's degree in business from SUNY Cobleskill. Scott worked as a deliveryman and driver for UPS in Latham.
He was a member of the West Albany Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Scott also enjoyed woodworking, remodeling his home, restoring his 1964 ½ Ford Mustang and making maple syrup with his daughter. He also treasured time spent with his daughter, family and friends.
Scott was predeceased by his father: Charles O. Willoughby and grandmother: Marion Marshall.
He is survived by his daughter: Emily Willoughby of Colonie; mother: Catherine I. Edholm of Richmondville; sister: Wendy (Douglas) Easley of Carlisle; brother: Kevin Willoughby of Warnerville; great-aunt: Betty Jane Meade of Chestertown; niece: Angela Easley of Carlisle; nephews: Matthew Easley of Carlisle, Charles (Megan) Willoughby of Warnerville; Chandler Willoughby of Warnerville, Heath Willoughby of Warnerville and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Scott's life to be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Fox Creek Park, State Route 30, Schoharie.
