Sarah Pacilli

Middleburgh- Sarah Pacilli, 82, of Lawton Hollow Road, died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.

Born May 30, 1929 in New York City, she was a daughter of Joseph and Rose (Basile) Berna.

Sarah and her husband, Richard, moved from Brooklyn to Middleburgh thirty years ago. He predeceased her in 1998.

She was of Roman Catholic faith and she enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her two sons: Christopher (Michele) Pacilli and Angelo Pacilli, both of Middleburgh; and her granddaughter, Nicoletta Pacilli of Middleburgh.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St. Cobleskill with Sister Connie James of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cobleskill officiating. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday. Cremation will follow the service.
