Seward (Schoharie County) - Mrs. Sandra D. Dailey, 60, of Markley Road, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at her residence.
Born March 22, 1950 in Niskayuna, she was a daughter of James and Doreen (Astill) Page, Jr.
Sandy was a graduate of Mohonasen High School and at one time was employed as a secretary for New York State Health Dept. and later the Division for Youth. Until retiring due to ill health, Sandy was a dispatcher for fifteen years for Schoharie County Sheriff's Department.
Sandy and her husband cared for numerous foster children over the years.
Survivors include her husband, James C. Dailey, whom she married March 10, 1985 in Schoharie; two sons: Glenn (Marguerite) Waldron of Middleburgh and Neil Waldron (Nicole Gebelein) of Middleburgh; a daughter, Joy O'Brien of Schenectady; two stepsons: James Dailey and David Dailey, both of Cobleskill; a brother, Dennis Page of East Greenbush; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be private with burial in Park Cemetery, Scotia, NY.
