Sandra Bellinger

Sprakers- Sandra L. Bellinger, 59, of Shafer Road, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at her residence with her husband at her side.

Born September 16, 1951 in Cobleskill, NY, she was the daughter of Winfred and Doris (Collins) Tillapaugh.
Sandy was a 1970 graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School.

For eight years she served as an assessor for the Town of Root and for the past five years was an Inmate Records Clerk at Summit Shock Correctional Facility in Summit, NY.

Sandy loved working in her flower gardens.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, L. James Bellinger, Jr.; her daughter, Amy Reese of Stone Arabia, NY; four grandchildren: Nathaniel Verbitsky, Zachary Reese and twins, Jenna and Ethan Reese; her brother, Gary (Michelle) Tillapaugh of Sloansville, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Carlisle Cemetery. At Sandy's request, there will be no calling hours.
