Ryan Daly

Cobleskill- Ryan T. Daly, 23, of Union Street, died Monday, May 11, 2009 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Ryan was born April 30, 1986 in Elizabeth, NJ, the son of Barbara (Fehrenbacher) Hotaling and Thomas Joseph Daly, who both survive him.
Ryan attended Cobleskill Richmondville High School and later received his GED. He continued his education at SUNY Cobleskill and was employed as a farmhand for Shaul's Farm of West Fulton.
Ryan was an avid skateboarder and enjoyed the outdoors.
In keeping with the spirit of life, Ryan was an organ donor, assisting five people to continue their lives.
He was predeceased by a step-brother, Shane Hotaling.
Along with his parents, survivors include his step-father, Wayne Hotaling of Sprakers; his sister, Erin T. Daly, and her children, Hailey Nicole and Walter Francis Kwasniak all of Cape Cod, MA; step-siblings: Nicole and Martin Hotaling; 3 aunts: Donna Acker of New London, NH, Dolly Oliveri of Naples, FL, and Sharon Work (also his godmother) of Cape Cod, MA; numerous cousins and extended family; his girlfriend, Rachel Kelchlin and her family of Howes Cave; and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill. Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation at the funeral home on Friday, from 1 to3 PM, prior to the celebration.
