Rosemary Teresa Fountain

Worcester- Rosemary T. Fountain, 89, of Broad Acres, Worcester, New York died Friday, July 21, 2023 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Born on September 21, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Bernard Koster and Pauline DeLuca Koster. She had been a local area resident for over 30 years.
Rosemary was a mother and homemaker. She also worked as a phone operator and a registered nurse.
She was a devout Christian and a proud republican.
She enjoyed charity work and ministry at the hospital. She loved to sing and dance. Church was very important to her and she enjoyed attending Bible Studies and Church functions.
On May 12, 1951 in Trenton, NJ, Rosemary was married to Edward A. Fountain. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2010. Her sons, Edward and Richard also predeceased her.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Joe (Rita) Fountain of NC, Rosemary Shufelt of Cobleskill, NY, Robert (Rosalie) Fountain of Galway, NY; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
A joint committal service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 10:00am at Middleburgh Cemetery.
