Rosemarie Babcock

Cobleskill - Rosemarie Babcock, 69, of Grovenors Corner Road, died Monday, February 2, 2009 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born October 24, 1939 in Worcester, NY and was the daughter of Edmond and Lucy (Crandell) Allen.
Mrs. Babcock was a lifelong area resident graduating from the former Cobleskill High School and from S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill. She was employed at S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill as the Supervisor of the Dining Halls and retired after 21 years of service.
She was predeceased by her parents, and one brother, John H. Allen, who died January 30, 2001.
Mrs. Babcock is survived by her husband, Peter Babcock, whom she married on November 17, 1984, one daughter, Lynn (Steven) Green of Carlisle, NY, one sister, Mary Ann (Robert) Storm of Harpursville, NY, two Granddaughters, Stacy (Brian) Baakman of Charleston, NY, and Kelly Green of Carlisle, NY, and one Great- grandson, Tyson Baakman of Charleston, NY.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester, NY.
