Ronald Korus

Cobleskill- Ronald J. Korus, 50, of West Main St., died unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.

Born August 17, 1962 in Bayonne, NJ, he was a son of Kenneth and Joyce (Doran) Korus.

In his younger years he enjoyed playing soccer and tennis, but his real love was music. He was a talented musician, able to play several different instruments, and enjoyed playing in various bands.

A socialable individual, Ron found pleasure in being in the company of friends.

Ron is survived by his mother: Joyce (Doran) Korus of Cobleskill; brother: Kenneth A. Korus of Ansonia, CT; his sister: Joyce Korus (Rob) Roney of Middleburgh; one niece, Amanda Roney and one nephew, Kyle Roney.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 1:30 Monday, March 18, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the church from 11:00 AM to 1:30PM, on Monday, prior to the service. Burial will follow in Breakabeen Cemetery.
