Ronald Kochon

Cobleskill- Ronald R. Kochon, 67, of Candle Light Way, died Sunday, April 30, 2006 at his residence.
Mr. Kochon was born March 1, 1939 in Taylor, PA, the son of Stephen and Helen (Peters) Kochon.
Mr. Kochon was a 1957 graduate of Yonkers High School and then enlisted in the United States Air Force until receiving an honorable discharge in 1961. He retired from being a truck driver for Brock's Transportation of Canyon County, CA, and was a member of the teamsters local #145 of Newburgh.
Mr. Kochon moved to Schoharie County in the early 1970's and was a member of the Schoharie Valley Crop Dusters.
Survivors include his wife, Frances (Eggers) Kochon, 2 daughters: Holly Kahabka and Wendy Weingarten, both of Middleburgh; a son, Ronald "Scott" Kochon of Central Bridge; grandchildren: David, Haley, Paige, Andrew Weingarten all of Middleburgh, Justin and Alexis Kahabka, bother of Middleburgh, and Lucas Kochon of Cobleskill.
A funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, May 3, at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill. Officiating will be Joe Bokel, chaplain of Catskill Area Hospice. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 PM, prior to the service. Cremation will follow at Vale Crematory.
