Richmondville- Roger I. King, Jr. also known as “Bussy”, 69, of Lincoln Park Lane, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his residence.
Born August 12, 1951 in Cobleskill, he was the son of the late Roger I. and Marion (Terpenning) King, Sr.
Roger was a 1969 graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School. He was a United States Air Force veteran, proudly serving his country from 1972 until receiving an honorable discharge in 1974. Roger was employed at NAPA Auto Parts for twenty-eight years, working mainly in Middleburgh but finishing in Stamford.
Roger’s hobbies included hunting, watching wrestling and being in the company of his friends. He loved his son, Marilyn Manson, Charlie Daniels and Jimi Hendrix.
He is survived by his son, Adam King (Krystal Clement) of Howes Cave; his sister, Sharon Althiser(Ray) and cousin, Jerry Terpenning.
Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation to be held from 10AM to 12PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:30PM on Wednesday at Bramanville-Prospect Cemetery. Face coverings and social distancing will be respected by all.
