Cobleskill- Robert H. Wohr, Jr., 47, of Quarry Street, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at his residence.
Born September 2, 1967 in Cobleskill he was the son of Janet E. (Chichester) and the late Robert H. Wohr, Sr.
Bob was a truck driver and mechanic for many years working with C.O.D. of Cobleskill.
He was a hard working, fun loving, caring man who loved keeping busy and doing firewood and woodcutting.
His dog, Brutus, was a faithful companion.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kimberly (Jones) Wohr, whom he married November 15, 2014 and her children: Laurie and Michael Bradt; his cherished mother: Janet E. (Chichester) Wohr of Cobleskill; his sister: Terry Wohr of Johnstown; brother: Charles Wohr of Boston, MA; an aunt and uncle; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, where a period of visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will follow in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jared Van Wagenen IV.
