Robert Waters

Breakabeen- Robert Waters, 81, of State Route 30, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his residence.

Born in Cooperstown on January 6, 1932, he was the son of Ethel Waters and was a lifelong area resident.

Bob was a retired Air Force Veteran, proudly serving his country from 1952 until receiving an honorable discharge as Airman Second Class in 1962.

He retired from Schoharie County Highway Department in 1999 after many years of employment as a truck driver.

Bob was predeceased by a son, Brian Blaine Waters in 2008.

Survivors include his wife: Debra (Chekovsky) Waters of Breakabeen; two daughters: Belinda Shepard of Gallupville and Denise Baker of East Worcester; his sister: Marion Handy of Central Bridge; stepson: Roque Vasquez of Breakabeen; stepdaughter: Dorothy Vasquez of Ellenville; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Molly.

There will be no calling hours and inurnment will be private at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
