Sharon Springs: Robert A. Waltimyer, 73, of State Route 20, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his home, following a brief illness.
Robert was born on July 24, 1943 in Norristown, PA to Margaret P. (Detwiler) and Carroll R. Waltimyer.
Robert was a self employed dairy and crop farmer for much of his life and enjoyed being around his home.
His true passion was car racing, especially Sprint and Modified races.
Robert is survived by his wife, Audrey (Barber) Waltimyer whom he married on April 14, 1983; son: John Waltimyer of Washingtonville, PA; daughter: Molly Fletcher of Turbotville, PA; son: Dwain (Kimberly) Marsh of Summit; grandchildren: Amber Fletcher, Jadyn Marsh and McKenzie Marsh.
There will be no formal services per the family's request.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, Cobleskill and the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, Middleburgh.
