Robert Vincent Pennock II, 62 of Cobleskill, NY, passed away on April 6, 2022, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Robert was born on August 7, 1959, the son of Robert V Pennock and Anne Pennock. Robert retired from a successful career with NYS as a Compliance Systems Specialist. He enjoyed his work and his travel to NYC, and his contributions were highly valued by both the Albany and NYC teams.
Robert was an avid reader, crossword puzzle solver, enjoyed antiquing, and was a member of the Army National Guard.
Robert is predeceased by his father Robert Pennock Sr. and his brothers John Pennock and Chris Pennock. He is survived by his mother, Anne Pennock, siblings Anne-jo McTague (Michael), Thomas Pennock (Janet), Mary Reynolds (Robert), Francine Lynch (David), and Elizabeth Whitney. He is also survived by a daughter, Catherine Guthrie, and her children, Edward, Patrick, and Hannah Guthrie; and by two sons, Robert Vincent Pennock III and Matthew Pennock. Robert also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Robert lived a private, quiet life, and he will be greatly missed. Services will be private at the request of the family. To those wishing to make a donation in Robert's name, please consider a cancer research organization of your choice, or planting a tree to honor him. The family is requesting no flowers please.
