Middleburgh- Robert L. Zeh, 88, formerly of Middleburgh, NY, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home in Stamford, NY, where he had been a resident for the past few years.
Robert was born on December 9, 1921 and was adopted and raised by the late Anna (Lewis) and Fred Zeh.
Robert was a self-employed landscaper before retiring.
On July 11, 1987 he married Majorie Mattice. She predeceased him on May 24, 2005.
Robert is survived by his cousin: Doris Helijas of Middleburgh, NY and friends: Edson Lindsey and his family of Schoharie, NY.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, Thursday September 23, 2010 at the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY. Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church will officiate. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday prior to the service. Burial will take place in the Breakabeen Cemetery, Clauverwie Rd., Breakabeen, NY.
