Middleburgh- Robert M. Curran, 71, of Bunny Hill Lane, died Friday, March 28, 2014 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.
Born October 19, 1942 in Astoria, he was the son of Robert J. and Ruth (Magnuson) Curran.
Robert was a salesman and worked several years for National Packers of Cheshire, CT and various other companies. He enjoyed computers and television in his later years.
Robert was predeceased by his first wife: Joyce (Campbell) Curran, who died in 2000, and a step-daughter: Dorothy Dyer in 2013.
Survivors include his wife: Mary (Felter) Curran, whom he married April 9, 2005; his brother: Timothy Curran of Middleburgh; a niece: Amanda Rogers of Chenango Bridge; and seven step-children: Thomas Armlin of Middleburgh, Sandra Wood of Oak Hill, Donna Enright of Esperance, Kathy Best of NC, Tammy Freeman of Middleburgh, Floyd Armlin, Jr. of North Blenheim, and Nelson Armlin of Middleburgh.
In keeping with Robert's request, there will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held in Armlin Hill Cemetery at a later date.
