Rita Burger

Middleburgh- Mrs. Rita A. "Dolly" Burger, 83, formerly of Middleburgh, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home in Stamford where she had been a resident for the past four years.
Mrs. Burger was born June 22, 1924 and resided in Middleburgh all her married life. She retired as a secretary from Middleburgh Oil Company.
She married Joseph E. Burger on Nov. 25, 1945 at St. Catherine's Church in Middleburgh and he predeceased her on February 24, 2003.
Mrs. Burger was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 21, 2008 at St. Catherine's church. Celebrant will be Father Thomas F. Holmes. Calling hours will be from 9 AM to 10:45 AM on Monday, prior to the Mass at Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home 134 River Street Middleburgh. Spring interment will be in Middleburgh Cemetery.
