Richard Roemer

Summit- Richard V. Roemer, 64, of State Route 10, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and son.

Born March 1, 1954 in Albany to Victoria (Polak) and the late Robert Roemer.  Richard was raised in Guilderland.

He was a self-employed contractor, proprietor of Roemer Builders.  He and his family moved to Summit in 1996.  Richard was a great boss and all around good guy.

Loving husband, father, son and brother, he is survived by his wife, Joy; son, Dylan; stepchildren:  Megan and Patrick Thomas; mother, Victoria P. Roemer; brothers, Robert, Christopher, and Damien; and a grandson, Devlin Thomas.

Honoring Richard’s request, there will be a private memorial service held by his family.
