Regina Spaulding

Cobleskill- Mrs. Regina J. Spaulding, 89, of Lawyersville Road, died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Spaulding was a born March 5, 1919 in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of Charles and Bernice (Bronislawa) Karis.
She was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and had been a trimmer for the former Van Deusen Dress Factory in Cobleskill.
Mrs. Spaulding was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church. She was also a member of the Cobleskill Senior Citizens and was an avid reader.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Carol Ann (Robert) Stanton of Cobleskill, and Marie Diane (Dale) Denny of West Fulton; her son, David Matthew (Connie) Spaulding of Cobleskill; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Robert Stanton, Sr. of Cobleskill, Tina Renee Brooker of Cobleskill, Christopher Stanton of Sharon Springs, Noreen Denny of Greenville, NC, Michael Denny of Rotterdam, and Susan Eileen Joyce of Belmont, NH; 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at St. Vincent de Paul Church 138 Washington Ave. Cobleskill. Burial will follow in Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill.
