Ralph Ivan Harvey, 58, unexpectedly passed away on August 29, 2025. Though his journey took him through many places—Fort Lauderdale, FL, Phoenix, AZ and Howes Cave, NY—his heart was always with the people he loved.
Ralph was predeceased by his father, Wendell Eugene Harvey. Ralph is survived by his devoted wife, Angel Harvey, and his beloved mother, Adah Muncy Harvey. He was a cherished brother to Wenda (Fritz) Nonnemacher, Wanita (John) Brooker, Randy (Maria) Harvey, and Wilma (Troy) Volker and several nieces and nephews. Family was his anchor, and his presence—full of warmth, humor, and a bit of stubbornness—will be deeply missed.
Ralph’s life was not without struggles, but his courage and resilience defined him. He faced adversity head-on and was proud to have reached 10 months of sobriety, a milestone that reflected his strength, determination, and hope for brighter days.
He will be remembered not only for his perseverance but also for the love and laughter he shared with those closest to him. His journey reminds us all that even in the hardest battles, there can be moments of grace, triumph, and deep connection.
Plans for a memorial service will be shared with family and friends at a later time.
Contributions in memory of Ralph Ivan Harvey may be made to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, PO Box 40, Howes Cave, NY 12092 or to the Bramanville Prospect Cemetery, PO Box 304, Warnerville, NY 12187.
