Central Bridge- Phyllis R. Jeffrey, 73, of North Main Street, formerly of Gallupville, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Ellis Hospital following a short illness.
Born August 8, 1937 in Esperance, she was the daughter of Phillip and Ida (Leonard) Zeh.
A 1955 graduate of Schoharie Central School, Phyllis became a school bus driver on Long Island and later for the Schoharie Central School. She was also a teacher's aide for several years before becoming a clerk at the NYS Division of Parole in Albany in 1978.
Survivors include her three daughters: Beverley Schoeffler of Schenectady, Debra Ross of Glenmont, and Carole Gaito of Scottsdale, AZ; her son: Kenneth Ross of Central Bridge; a brother: Leonard Zeh of Blairsville, GA; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Sloansville Valley Cemetery, with Rev. Carol Coltrain officiating. There will be no calling hours.
