Peter Triolo

Cobleskill- Peter H. Triolo, 66, of Lark Street died Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the comfort of his home with his loving family at his side.

Born March 23, 1946 in Ettlingen, Germany, he was the son of Peter and Elisabeth (Meinzer) Triolo, who both predeceased him.

Peter and his wife moved from Queens to Cobleskill in 1974 and he was the proprietor of Cobleskill Lock and Auto Glass for twenty-five years. He was also a bus driver for Cobleskill-Richmondville School District retiring in 2008 after twenty-seven years of service.

Peter was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cobleskill.

He took great pride in his home, always doing home improvement projects.

Peter is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Carlito) Triolo, whom he married Sept. 25, 1966 in Ridgewood, NY; his son: Paul Triolo of Lawyersville; a granddaughter: Jennifer N. Vail of Little Falls; brother-in-law: Michael (Kathy) Carlito of Mechanicville; a sister-in-law: Pauline (Rick) Condee of North Brookfield, MA; three nephews and a niece: Zachary and Jonathan Carlito and Austin and Nellie Condee.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill, with Father Thomas F. Holmes as celebrant. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the church on Tues., prior to the Mass, from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Cobleskill.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are made to Marathon for a Better Life, PO Box 268, Warnerville, NY 12187.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh.
