Pauline Huse

Warnerville- Pauline Campbell Huse, 93, of Karker Road, died Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, DE following a brief illness.

Born February 18, 1926 in Oto, IA, she was the daughter of Samuel Wesley and Marie Irene (Grafford) Campbell.

Known as Cam by most people, she graduated from University of Iowa with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.  Cam was a supervisor for Catholic Charities Home Health Care Aide.

On November 4, 1950 she was united in marriage to Sylvester John Huse.  She and Syl purchased the first part of Stone Broke Farms in 1966.  The family operated this grass-fed beef farm for many years.  Cam was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

On May 7, 2016 she was predeceased by her husband, and their son, David, predeceased them on June 7, 2010.

Survivors include her sons:  Jeffry John (Audrey) Huse of Slingerlands and Stephen John Huse of Dewey Beach, DE; grandchildren:  Justin Jeffry (Sarah Beth) Huse of Clarks Summit, PA, Stephen Charles (Sarah Lynn) Huse of Waterford, CT, Hannah Marie Huse of Slingerlands, Johanna Grace Huse of Slingerlands, David Joshua Huse of Slingerland; great-grandchildren:  Abigail, Benjamin and Franklin Huse of Clarks Summit, PA, Laura, Emily, Autumn, Julie, and David of Waterford, CT; and her older sister, Dorothy Mary Sadler of Correctionville, IA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 19, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill.  Burial will immediately follow in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.  The Huse Family will greet family and friends from 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.

Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities Food Bank, 489 West Main St., Cobleskill, NY  12043.
