Gilboa- Paula J. Hamelin, 66, of Bremer Rd., formerly of Hudson Falls, died Thursday July 18, 2013 at her home, following a long illness.
Paula was born on May 4, 1947 in Glens Falls. She was a loving and devoted homemaker by trade and enjoyed traveling in the family motor home, watching all forms of wildlife and caring for her family.
Paula is survived by her husband and best friend, Joseph J. Hamelin, whom she married on June 5, 1967 and daughter: Debbie Hamelin of Glens Falls; sons: Jeff Hamelin of Greenwich, Bryan Hamelin of Hudson Falls; five grandchildren and many sisters and brothers.
At Paula's request, there will be no formal services. Cremation took place at the Vale Crematory in Schenectady.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, Middleburgh and the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, Cobleskill.
