Warnerville- Paul J. Schultz, 70, of West Fulton Road, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. Schultz was born January 19, 1937 in Bronx, NY, the son of Joseph and Anna (Saib) Schultz, Jr.
He graduated from the Bronx Vocational School and was a United States Army veteran serving from 1956 to 1958 when he received an honorable discharge. He was a former member of the Worcester American Legion Post and VFW Post.
Mr. Schultz was employed in the maintenance department at the State University of New York in Cobleskill.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie (Stanton) Schultz, whom he married June 6, 1980; his children: Paul Thomas (Angel) Schultz of Stamford, Joseph Paul Schultz of Warnerville, Lisa (Gary) Trombley of Breakabeen, Pam (Chris) Savage of Delhi, Rob (Heather) Benson of Springfield Center, Sherry (Ben) Rose of Front Royal, VA, and Dean and (Karen) Benson of Delanson; grandchildren: Destiny and Rhys Trombley, Crystal and Faith Savage, Brady and Chase Benson, Lorelei Benson, Josh and Maria Contreras, Allen and Katie Trombley, and Marion Trombley; 2 great-granddaughters: Anise and Namine Trombley.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 9 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Patria Cemetery.
