Paul Gibas
Summit- Paul J. Gibas, 65, of Enid Road, died unexpected on Friday, November 26, 2010 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.
Born April 27, 1945, Paul was a son of John and Blanche (Rusczyk) Gibas.
He retired from Traffic Engineering and Sales, Inc. of Warwick, RI where he was a sales engineer. While working there, he maintained a part-time residence in Summit until retirement when he lived here year round.
Paul was an outdoorsman who enjoyed working his land, camping and boating at Lake George, as well as snowmobiling.
Survivors include his sister, Carol Scavetta and her husband, John of Fresh Meadows, NY, and their two sons.
Private services were held at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
